I know, right? I haven't been on here in like forever. Well, I'm in college right now, my art major has led me to have new things to put up here. Buuuut I have to wait until my dear friend Jessica can photograph them for me so I can post them up since they are a tad too big to fit in my scanner.
What else? Well I've been fascinated with Alice in Wonderland lately, decided to write my own little story on it. Why? Well, due to certain things that occured I had to halt the Isako story until I fix her story up and the Vampires is going to be over. [Yes, over, that means I can't really write anymore on Rina or Astor since, well, Astor isn't mine to use.]
Now, what is my story? Well here are the characters in it and you'll get the first chapter up by next week God willing:
Christopher Lake: The main character of the story, Christopher is just released from St. Mary's Mental Clinic due to his trauma after the death of his fiance, Mary. When he arrives home for the first time in two years he finds that everything is the same, except that there is a mirror that never used to be there right against the wall of his living room. He assumes it is a gift as a 'welcome home' message from a neighbor until he finds the letter that came with it, the mirror is from his dead fiance. As he goes to analyze the mirror for a 'haha' on it, thinking it is a sick joke, he is pulled into the alternate world called Wonderland, where everything is a nightmare. Going through Hell itself causes him to want to leave the place, but he has a dilema, the only way to get out of Wonderland is to break the mirror, and to break the mirror means to let out every dark being in Wonderland.
The Mad Hatter: An exact replica of Christopher, Hatter is a deranged serial killer in Wonderland who is known to leave his victims tied to a chair as if they are at a 'tea party'. When Hatter meets Christopher, he sees the resemblence and takes it as a good sign to put Christopher in the middle of the troubles he has caused. Hatter is the subject of the Red Queen's obsession and wants her off his back, so seeing Christopher means getting the old woman off his back for good. As well as that, Hatter finds the 'looking glass' and sees the world Christopher came from, finding a new idea to spark, leave Christopher in the Queen's clutches and take his place in the real world, where he has more victims and new experiences. Hatter follows Christopher throughout the book up until he gives him to the Red Queen.
The Chesire Cat: A maniac that escaped from The Red Queen's prison. The Chesire Cat is wanted for multiple counts of attempted murder and aided suicide. As an escapee from the prison, Chesire is less than stable and when he sets his eyes on Christopher for the first time, finds new entertainment in attempting to make Christopher kill himself. Chesire refers to Alice often as "the one who got away", since he never quite got her to kill herself. But, he does refer to her as a the best fun he ever had, since he hears that Alice is in St. Mary's for trauma and hallusinations. Though he doesn't appear right away to Christopher, once the Chesire Cat does appear he randomly appears to torment Christopher in order to push him over the edge. When Christopher is put in the Queen's castle Chesire lets her catch him so he can manipulate Christopher more into insanity.
The Catipillar: Known for his sick sense of humor and drug problem, Catipillar helps Christopher for only a short period of time when it comes to running away from Hatter. His drug problem leads him into several dazes and transes while Christopher is talking to him, making it clear that the reason why he is left alone by most of the creatures is because, well, he is usually too stoned to care. Catipillar gives Christopher several mushrooms saying "it'll make you bigger", Christopher takes this as an inuendo to sex and ignores the gift until he realizes the mushrooms make him able to be stronger when it comes to fighting off Hatter later on. Catipillar shows up rarely, though when he does, it is always to help Christopher through his troubles.
The Red Queen: A tyrant and a very greedy woman. She is obsessed with herself and disagrees that her age is catching up with her. She is described as boney and her attempts at make up make her look like her lips are bleeding, when in reality it is her lipstick. She thinks she is in love with the Hatter and demands he be brought to her, and the fact that he is able to dodge her makes her angry and her anger often leads to the beheading of many cards. When she finally grasps Christopher she intends to marry him and finally be able to consumate it, which makes Christopher disgusted since he has heard under her robes she is literally bones. Chesire is the Red Queen's kryptonite, and when he comes back to torment Christopher, Chesire drives the Queen to the point of insanity.
The White Rabbit: A nervous wreck of a man, he is traumatized after seeing Alice's condition since he secretly uses the mirror to watch her. Christopher is put in the same cell with him and through the hours sees that he was truely in love with Alice and blames himself for her condition. He is described as a handsome man that at one time was with ebony hair, but the stress of his job led to it turning white. Rabbit agrees to help Christopher get out of Wonderland only if Christopher finds a way to allow him out as well so he can see Alice. Out of all the characters Rabbit is the only one that is true to his word to help Christopher out of the Hell, and Christopher finds himself fond of the Rabbit since his love for Alice seems to be the only thing keeping him from going insane from the Chesire's attempt. After he is brought in he is always by Christpher's side.
The Duchess: Rabbit's old boss, she put Rabbit in the jail due to his love for Alice. She is very into reading and comes across a legend of drinking blood to become younger. When she finds it has to be pure blood she goes after Rabbit to have his blood in order to regain the beauty she once had, thinking it will allow her to take the Queen's place in Wonderland so she can have it to her liking. She plays a small role since shortly after she is brought in, Chesire convinces her to drink her own blood.
March Hare: Hatter's younger brother, he is inside a 'hare hole' as punishment for aiding Hatter in one of his murders. He isn't mentioned often but when he is, Hatter seems to reveal a sort of weakness that he couldn't get his brother out of the punishment he was given. Hare always asks Hatter when the tea part will be, which makes Christpher feel pity.
Dormouse: A drunk, it doesn't have a gender but seems to look like a young girl. It drinks continuously and is the reason why Hare was caught and punished. Hatter kills Dormouse while Christpher watches, though Christpher doesn't stop him, in Christopher's mind, the killing was out of pain in Hatter's heart.
King of Hearts: A skelton that sits beside the Queen of Hearts.
White King: Very bored, he tells Christopher if he can get the Hatter to be kind again he will give him his throne.
White Queen: Very sad and unintentionally rude, she sulks on her husband's shoulder for the time Christpher is talking to him.
Twiddle Dee and Twiddle Dum: Two twin sisters, they speak at the same time and both fight over who will get to have Christopher. Their dresses link together so one can't move too far away from the other. They used to fight over Hatter until he began to kill.
Red Knight: A crazed guard who goes after Christpher in a blind rage when he sees Christopher has the Catipillar's mushrooms.
White Knight: The Red Knight's twin, he kills the Red Knight to keep Christopher safe.
Alice: She snaps out of her insanity when the mirror cracks enough to allow her to hear Rabbit. She helps Christopher escape with Rabbit and she explains why the mirror was in his house and who really sent it.
Mary: Christopher's dead fiance, her soul appears at the end to lock the mirror once and for all.
